You experiment and suddenly stop. Something is working. Because - and this is unclear. But you can interpret and understand it.
There's a wall, but I can't see it, I can feel it - I go outside, it's a strange reflection in the sky, as if I'm still sitting at the computer, there's no wind, it has no weight, it touches me, but only faintly, the only thing that really touches me is that it doesn't really touch me. It remains this glass box that I'm in. But it's nice to be connected to everything, much nicer.

The series “ich bin immer noch erschrocken” and “du bist das Licht und ich die Reflexion” are based on a photographic combination of painting and photography. The two media merge. Their origins remain partially recognizable. A carpet of imprints, signs and imprints of signs is formed. It cannot be read apart because it is a mixture. Media are not played off against each other, but form a reinforcement with each other. A symbolically depicted reality is brought into the space of the photographic imprint. The image stretches out a photographic sail. The superimposition of the image with a photograph also creates the impression of a disturbance in the image. It could be a reflection, it could be context and not image, but it is part of it.
